The San Francisco Giants have a 10-day period, starting Monday, in which they have exclusive bargaining rights with manager Dusty Baker.

But after Baker walked away crying from a welcome-home rally Monday afternoon at Pacific Bell Park, that emotion will be widely interpreted as another sign his days are finished in San Francisco.
