Light pasta salads, grilled chicken and fresh fruit are great
during summer months, but as the temperature drops stomachs yearn for
heartier, rich foods.
With a variety of stews, schnitzels and dark-chocolate desserts,
German food satisfies even the most voracious autumn appetite.
The Cabbage Roll, co-owned by Lawrence Matt Jr. and Andrew
Halamar, has been satiating St. Joseph's craving for German food
since 1989.
Contrary to popular belief, Mr. Halamar says German food is more
than just sauerkraut. The Cabbage Roll's menu offers a plethora of
palatable food items, such as schnitzel, a breaded seasoned pork loin
