In fact, you're best bet may be on eBay.com, where the fervor for the new game system and widespread shortages in stores has driven at least one auction for an Xbox 360 to as much as $2,550 - which may be reasonable, considering a game is included. The Xbox 360 retails for $399.

And St. Joseph stores that started selling the high-demand machines at midnight Monday, reported hundreds of people in line for as long as 24 hours.
