St. Joseph attorney Rob Miner was named administrative law judge
for the Missouri Division of Workers Compensations last month and
assumed his new duties this week.
As the result of legislation passed during the 2004-2005 session,
more than 20 previous legal adviser positions were eliminated and up
to 40 administrative law judge positions were created, including Mr.
Miner's position. Currently, there are 38 judges throughout the
state, including two in St. Joseph.
An administrative law judge is responsible for resolving disputes
relating to workers' compensation injuries.
Mr. Miner, a Central High School graduate, began his law career in
