Dan Danford, president of the Family Investment Center in St. Joseph, has announced the acquisition of an investment management business from Northwest Consulting of Maryville, Mo.

Northwest's principal, Dr. Jason White, will become director of investments for the Family Investment Center.

"We are thrilled that Jason is joining our firm," Mr. Danford said. "He brings both theoretical and applied expertise to the field of investment analysis and will be an outstanding addition to our professional team."
