AS a child, Michele Zavatsky would travel all over her home state of Ohio and nearby states with her parents, visiting interesting and historic places. George, her husband, had a similar experience growing up in Wheeling.

"As we started having children, eight or nine years ago, we started taking our kids to these places," Michele Zavatsky, 39, said from her home in Columbus, Ohio.

It wasn't long before friends and neighbors began asking the Zavatskys for advice on where to take their kids on vacation. "We thought everyone just knew about these places," she said.
