Article: Not sweet on sour cream?

IF I (Tara) had announced that I planned to drown a bagful of kittens, Rob could not have been more aghast than when I admitted I despise sour cream.

To me, nothing spoils a nice plate of enchiladas like a fermented dairy product. Waiters usually ask me two or three times - "No sour cream?" People at adjacent tables maneuver themselves protectively between me and their children. Sometimes the waiter will foist a little cup of sour cream upon me anyway, and Rob will scam it.

But I may have been somewhat right all along, at least in terms of world cuisine.

We've all wondered vaguely, as we chowed down on some permutation of tortilla, beef, lettuce, ...
