Baseball owners want the outcome of the All-Star Game to determine which league will get the home-field advantage in the World Series. When their vote was announced in January, I thought it was silly, like most of the owners' ideas. But the concept has been growing on me. The White Sox will host the All-Star Game this summer at U.S. Cellular Field. Wouldn't it be great if the game actually meant something?
