James Randolph Bentley

James Randolph "Dolph" Bentley, 72, of Cross Lanes, W.Va., formerly of Hernshaw and Grundy, Va., died Nov. 18, 2005, in Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after an apparent heart attack.

He was a disabled miner from Carbon Fuel Coal Company in Cabin Creek, after 42 years of service as a coal miner.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edith, Norma and Floette; and granddaughter, Shannon Ann Cabell.

Surviving are daughters, Tonia L. Halstead of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Teresa Cabell, Tammy M. Jarrell, and Tina L. Bentley, all of Ashford, W.Va.; son, James E. Bentley of Elkview; ex-wife, Vivian A. Holtsclaw of Chesapeake, W.Va.; sisters, Emogene, Sylvia, Mary ...
