Silicone implants boosted after 14-year ban is lifted

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Michelle Miller sat in her plastic surgeon's
office recently, flipping through a dog-eared Playboy to pick out
what size breasts she wants.
She wavers between a C cup and a D.
But one thing she knows for sure: She wants silicone, not saline.
"I have a couple friends that have the saline. I know they're not
too happy with them," says Miller, who doesn't want the ripples of
saline. "I don't want to look unnatural."
Some women, like Miller, delayed breast augmentation surgery while
they waited for the Food and Drug Administration to lift a 14-year
ban on silicone implants. In November the FDA did just that. The
