The American Heart Association has chosen Tim Bess as president
for 2008 of its Greater Charleston Metro Board. Natalie Tennant as
first vice president and Dan Miller as second vice president. Bess is
chief operating officer of St. Francis Hospital, Tennant is a former
newscaster who's running for secretary of state, and Miller is vice
president of the West Virginia Coal Association. Also on the board
are Doug Bentz of Roane General Hospital, Karen Bowling of Raleigh
General Hospital, Amy Carte of the state Bureau for Public Health,
Stephen Chambers of Jackson Kelly PLLC, Anna Marie Dans, Mark Dempsey
of Appalachian Power, Bonnie Dunn-Parsons of the West Virginia State ...
