Last October, Woodland Trust staff and youngsters sowed wildflower
seeds at Londonthorpe Wood, near Grantham, to create a beautiful new
wildflower meadow.
Now it's time to see the fruits of their labour, virtually on the
doorstep of the Woodland Trust's Grantham headquarters.
The meadow, which has species such as cornfield annuals, poppies,
cornflowers, field camomile, and corn cockles, was created as part
of the pioneering 'Forest of Flowers' project.
