A Group of school children are celebrating, following the success
of their Healthy Lifestyle Project.
Pupils at Broughton Junior School were one of 10 North
Lincolnshire Primary schools to pilot the project, aiming to explain
the importance of healthy eating.
The council was awarded pounds90,000 to fund the initiative which
aims to reduce childhood obesity by promoting physical activity
alongside a healthier diet.
Pupils at Broughton got the chance to meet Iron ace Cliff Bryne,
who presented the children with certificates of achievement.
Coun Christine O'Sullivan was pleased with the project.
