Step back in time this weekend by making a visit to a railway
which operates locomotives which ran more more than half-a-century
ago.
The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, based at Ludborough, south of
Grimsby, is open to visitors on Sunday.
The East Lincolnshire Railway ran between Boston and Grimsby, via
Firsby, Willoughby and Louth, opening in 1848.
Sadly, the Louth to Grimsby section of the line closed in 1980,
but enthusiasts are returning part of the line to its former glory.
