Students and staff at Baysgarth School, Barton-Upon-Humber had the
opportunity to meet one of the country's sporting heroes, Sir Trevor
Brooking.
Representatives from the school were invited to the England Under-
19 versus Romania Under-19 international at Glanford Park to receive
the FA's Charter Standard Award.
A group of 30 pupils, along with staff, went along to the match
and, at half-time, four members of staff - Robert O'Mara, Patrick
Sprakes, Jo Hodge and Chris Wright - along with the captains of the
school's football teams, Alex Hodson, Ben Parkin, Lewis Barnes, Sam
Smith, Sharna Bennett and Nicola Knapton, made their way down the
tunnel and on to the Glanford Park pitch.
