athletic treasures showcased in Chicago Sports! You Shoulda Been
There, opening Saturday at the Chicago Historical Society.
The 6,000-square-foot gallery is divided into sections
representing the city's great sports venues: Wrigley Field, Comiskey
Park, Soldier Field, the Chicago Stadium and the United Center.
"The power of sports is tied up not just in our memories of the
game, but the places where we captured those memories," said John
Russick, the exhibit developer. "The events pass, but the places stay
and serve as touchstones for the great moments in Chicago ...
