Our common future will be increasingly dominated by the impacts of
climate change, and for some more so than others. And the closer you
have been to the flood water this summer, the more you are aware of
this. We all know things are different now, particularly after
Hurricane Katrina and the flooding of New Orleans.
The summer floods of 2007 have given us a taste of what the future
