When England won the World Cup four years ago, Shaun Perry was
watching on television with a pint and a full English breakfast in
front of him. He tells STEVE COTTON about his journey from part-
timer to England's first-choice scrum-half
Shaun Perry is on the verge of two major achievements as England
continue their World Cup preparations against France at Twickenham
today.
A repeat of his sharp display at scrum-half in the 62-5 demolition
of Wales a week ago will all but confirm the Bristol man's position
as England's top No 9.
And after he tests himself against the World Cup hosts, the 29-
year-old will be one England cap away from the significant 12th.
