Though neither side will admit it, an escalation of the razor-
blade wars pitting Gillette vs. Schick appears likely to result in
the introduction later this year of something the shaving world has
never before seen: the first four-bladed razors.
Gillette said this week it won't be first to offer a four-bladed
razor--but its top executives think Schick will be, offering it
before year's end.
Schick's new razor is said to be called Quattro.
A spokeswoman for Energizer Holdings, which bought the Schick-
Wilkinson Sword operation in March from ...
