Article: Goliath Volvo takes tiny Volo museum to task over name Web address is too close for comfort, carmaker complains

One little "v" is causing big problems for an antique auto museum in Volo, the tiny Lake County hamlet perhaps best known, if known at all, for the Volo Bog.

The Volo Auto Museum is facing a challenge from Volvo Cars of North America. Volvo maintains that the museum's Internet domain name, Volocars.com, is too similar to Volvo's own, Volvo cars.com, causing confusion for its customers.

The Swedish automaker, now owned by Ford Motor Co., is asking an international agency that referees Internet disputes to order the Volo museum to give up its domain name. A decision by the World Intellectual Property Organization could come this week.
