Article: Open the door to more shop storage

Those old shutters or louvered closet door you took down don't have to just take up space in the corner of your garage.

Use "S" hooks to hold some of your hardware, camping items and gardening gadgets right on the louvered slats.

It's best if you can attach the shutters or door to the wall for more stability. If you have the old hinges, attach them to the wall with those. That will allow you access behind them if you need it.

If they are painted a light color, it will also be easy to spot the tools quickly and get to work faster. So, if you have to store these shutters or doors in your garage, put them to good use.
