Article: Bonanza of Gold Coast houses for sale, from $1.4 million to $5.5 million

There are currently 34 single-family homes in Chicago's Gold Coast
area on the market, according to an industry tabulation. The listing
prices range from $1.4 million to $5.5 million.
"That is an amazingly high number of listings--when you consider
that only 83 single-family homes exist in the exclusive Gold Coast
neighborhood," said James Kinney, president Rubloff Residential
Properties.
The Gold Coast area is bounded by Oak Street, Clark Street, North
Avenue and Lake Michigan. Rubloff currently is offering a dozen Gold
Coast houses for sale. Some are mansions, and others are row houses.
