Everyone lost it, everyone who is anyone, the "heavy guys" as identified by Ben Curtis--about whom there shall be more later--when the afterthought from Kent, Ohio, set out amongst them on Sunday for the final round in the mean little weed patch by the channel in County Kent, a place so ill-suited to golf that the guy who should have won, twice hit his ball out of a bunker, onto the green, only to have it roll back into the bunker.

This was less golf than simple madness, without logic or reward, staged in a place that got the champion it deserved, the 396th best player in the world, a ranking still superior to the real estate.
