Police are urging people wanted on warrants to turn themselves in
before the new year.
Humberside Police has released the names of 18 people who have
warrants against them for failing to appear at court.
All are from the East Riding area and their offences include
assault and dangerous dog offences.
Officers are giving people wanted on warrant the chance to make a
new start for 2008 and wipe the slate clean by coming forward in the
next few days.
If they don't hand themselves in, they could face missing the new
year festivities and continue to have the worry of a warrant hanging
over them.
