She's coming home.Former Circuit Court Clerk Aurelia M.
Pucinski, ending her brief affiliation with the Republican Party,
will run for judge next year as a Democrat.
"I feel this is the right thing for me to do," said Pucinski, 56,
chairwoman of the Illinois Regulatory Review Commission.
In her legal career, she has served as a member of the Illinois
Criminal Justice Information Authority, as assistant corporation
counsel for the City of Chicago and regional counsel for the U.S.
Small Business Administration.
Allies in both parties have urged her to return to the Democratic
Party to run for the bench. In last year's election, she ran
