Article: 'Dinosaurs' come to life in a big way

HOW DO YOU TURN a menagerie of prehistoric lizards into a show that gives'em the old theatrical razzle-dazzle? The creators of "Walking With Dinosaurs -- The Live Experience" were hoping veteran theater director Scott Faris had the answer when they approached him in 2006 to help turn the hit BBC TV series into a stage show. The live-action production, which features 15 snarling primeval beasties come to life, is at HP Pavilion in San Jose today through Monday.
