VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 3, 2008) - Riverside Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RRI) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 100% interest in the 10,175 hectare Ventosa Property, in southeastern Oaxaca, Mexico. The property is easily accessible with paved highway access in a low topography area that hosts gold mineralization currently being drilled by Penoles and other resource companies. The Ventosa district has Tertiary andesitic-dacitic volcaniclastic flows overlying Middle Jurassic - Cretaceous schists and phyllites with varying amounts of quartz shearing and mesothermal cataclastic breccias.
