Last week the Gourmet Pizza Shoppe gave the Redlands Daily Facts and its readers a peek inside one of the hottest kitchens in town.

Nearing their 10th anniversary, the family-owned pizza parlor has been creating interesting, creative and delicious combinations of pizzas since Jan. 8, 1998. On Dec. 18, they opened a second Gourmet Pizza Shoppe in Yucaipa, on Calimesa Boulevard.

Their slogan " on a pizza?" fits well for the more than 65 specialty pizzas on the menu. There are 12 cheeses and more than 125 toppings used in their delightful concoctions. All the pies have fun names that are well suited to the flavors represented.
