New Year's Eve Family Fest: New Year's Eve, 5 to 8 p.m., Quincy Center. Quincy's annual year-end finale, formerly Family First Night, will feature an eclectic live entertainment lineup spread over multiple venues in Quincy Center, a fireworks display after 7 p.m., jugglers, magicians and a KidsFest event. Venues include Thomas Crane Public Library, Presidents Place and Quincy High School's auditorium. The event is free for the first time.
