MUSIC SCENE
Lori McKenna released a major label album to wide acclaim in
2007, cracked the country charts for the first time, toured
nationally with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and took home the Boston
Music Award for Outstanding Album.
But as far as her husband and oldest son are concerned, the
Stoughton songwriter's best accomplishment was scoring a spot on
this Sunday's Hot Stove Cool Music benefit concert at The Paradise
in Boston. Husband Gene and son Mark, 15, are lifelong devoted Red
Sox fans, and ecstatic about attending the baseball-and-music-
themed event.
