Article: Touch of Life: ; Article stirs recollections of Rock Springs Park

Early this past summer, I picked up a copy of one of my favorite
magazines, "Wonderful West Virginia," for a bit of enjoyable
reading.
This happened to be the June edition. As I looked through the
pages, I found an article by one Constance Watters Miles that took
me back to the early days of my youth. This particular article was
on the former Rock Springs Park in Chester, our most northern town
located on the Ohio River as far north as one can go and not be in
Ohio or Pennsylvania.
Miles now lives in The Woodlands, Texas, but was formerly from
the town of Oakdale, Pa., not far from Pittsburgh. The article told
of her entire town vacating for the special annual railroad train
