Some new products are so obvious that you murmur "of course" when you see them on store shelves.

Andes baking chips are like that. Andes Candies, made in Delavan, Wis., but owned by Tootsie Roll here, has chopped and packaged its mint-chocolate candies for home cooks. Available in metallic green bags, these are all ready to be poured into a batch of cookie dough or melted on top of brownies still warm from the oven. Andes has thoughtfully printed both recipes on the back of the package.
