Royal treatment
To Westar Energy and the people of Kansas, thank you.
I am from J. Ranck Electric Inc. of Michigan, one of the many
electrical contractors called to assist in restoration of power from
the December ice storm.
First, I must say Westar was more coordinated than the many power
companies I have worked for in 40 years. Its commitment to safety of
the workers and the public was fantastic.
Alan Coverdale, of Westar, our main contact, provided direction
and help that made our long, cold days much easier and more
productive. All of the Westar employees were a joy to work with. My
compliments to their dedication.
I would also like to say that in my 40 years, I have never had
