Two minutes into the fourth quarter of Tuesday night's boys'
basketball game at Glen Burnie, Annapolis seemed like a lost team.
The Panthers had scored one basket over the final five minutes of
the third quarter and the first two minutes of the fourth.
A seven-point lead evaporated with a series of turnovers, poor
decisions and missed shots, and Glen Burnie was all smiles after a
two-handed slam dunk by center Danny Murphy gave the Gophers a four-
point advantage with 5 minutes 58 seconds to play.
Annapolis needed to regroup fast.
