Article: What do you buy for the God who has everything?

Apparently God is trying to tell me something.Earlier this week, a tall, skinny, brown paper bag with a red-and-white sticker attached to the front that said, "Shopping for God," arrived in the afternoon mail.

That's a hint, right? Like a thunderbolt or burning bush?

A divine sign that says, "Thou shalt buy me a little something."

Now, I was taught that God doesn't care about material possessions, that the quality of a person's heart and how we treat one another is what pleases the Almighty. All the gold and precious jewels in the world mean nothing compared to one lost lamb, right?

World peace obviously can't be bought, but I suppose an end to world hunger and a cure for all ...
