In high school, Joseph P. Norton II of Scituate started working
for Christopher Mullaney and his fish market in Scituate.
Work involved unloading fish from boats at Scituate docks, and
eventually his job shifted to inside the market, he recalled.
Except when he was away at college, the Boston College High
School and Assumption College graduate has worked with Mullaney -
more than 20 years, Norton said. Mullaney said that when Norton was
in school, he worked summers and during college breaks.
Now, Norton is in charge not only of Mullaney's Harborside Fish
Market at Scituate Harbor but Mullaney's Seafood market at 754
Cushing Highway, Cohasset.
