CLINTON - Gerald Rodney Coon, 66, Clinton, died at 9:42 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 17, 2008) at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will be in Weldon Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, American Heart Association or to the March of Dimes.

He was born Aug. 16, 1941, at Eleroy, son of Clifford and Carrie Kramer Coon. He married Phyllis Kay Davenport on April 20, 1963, at Clinton.
