Article: Somerset House deadlock calls for Lord Hollick ; The Londoner's Diary

THE tricky question of what to do with the New Wing of Somerset House continues to worry the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. So much so that it's thought the final decision will now be taken by the Prime Minister, rather than by Culture Secretary James Purnell.

Now a new name has emerged to sort out the dilemma. Step forward New Labour cheerleader Lord Hollick, former boss of Meridian Broadcasting and proprietor of the Daily Express, who has been drafted in to compile a report.
