Deals worth more than pounds250 million were completed by BPE
Solicitors's corporate commercial team last year. It was a record
year for the Cheltenham-based law firm whose eight-strong corporate
team adopted a strategy of acting for highly acquisitive AIM-listed
companies.
The strategy paid off and the five-partner team, lead by Anthony
Rudge, completed the largest number of deals in the firm's history -
55 in all.
"We are on a real high after completing such a spectacular number
of deals during 2007, having proved we can give many larger,
national firms a run for their money," said Mr Rudge.
