Leasing a property is not without its difficulties for both
tenant and landlord. In both cases, it's always best to be clear
exactly what is included before you sign, or have someone sign, on
the dotted line.
Below are five top tips for tenants - and landlords renting out
their own homes.
Tenants making an offer:
1Make sure all requests and information are given to the agent at
the time of the offer. Do not ask for the property to be repainted
after the offer has been accepted.
2If you can stay for a year straight with no break clause, you
are more likely to get the property. Or make your break clause at a
good letting time, not Christmas or January.
