A new-era novelty that could only originate in the hinterlands of the unruly Internet (or maybe a collegiate pot den at 5 in the morning), DJ Danger Mouse's controversial "The Grey Album" sports a wicked idea that boils down to simple black and white: snag instrumental break beats from the Beatles' so-called "White Album" and twist them into a cappella verses from Jay-Z's 2003 "Black Album."
