Jan Christofferson, Eagle River, sent a recipe for muffins as
requested by Karla Bertling.
She wrote: "This sounds like the muffin she is looking for,
although it calls for fresh berries instead of jam."
Jan's Berry Cheesecake Muffins
Makes about 2 dozen
Cream cheese filling (see recipe)
Streusel topping (see recipe)
1/3 cup (2/3 stick) butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup milk
Make cream cheese filling and streusel and set aside.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. In
another bowl, combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Add to
