HIS takes on well-worn favourites The Nutcracker and Cinderella
were a breath of fresh air and the final in a trilogy of ballets
with a fairytale theme that Ashley Page has introduced to Scottish
Ballet looks like another hit in the company's repertoire.
Tackling a third Tchaikovsky ballet in The Sleeping Beauty, the
award-winning artistic director gives audiences another helping of
storytelling with a twist. And this is the most visually ravishing
yet, with costumes that are superb and fantastically talented
dancers.
