Article: 'Protect integrity of Cornish pasty'

A campaign which seeks to have the unique regional identity of the Cornish pasty officially recognised is calling for more support.

The Cornish Pasty Association (CPA) wants to stop consumers being misled by pasty makers who trade off the value of the name without making a genuine product.

The organisation, made up of around 40 pasty makers in Cornwall, has launched a website to enable people to back its campaign online.
