One of the reasons Wayne Miller, owner of Kidron Sports Center,
decided to be the lead sponsor for the Northeast Ohio Sportsman Show
this weekend was the area's affinity for whitetail deer.
All the variables to good hunting are available locally -- good
numbers of deer, good habitat, good size and plenty of avid of
hunters.
Deer hunting is big business in not only Wayne and Holmes
counties, but in Ohio as well. What a lot of people may not know,
though, is that deer farming is also big business in the area.
In fact, Wayne and Holmes County is the hotbed of Ohio deer
farming.
