Article: GRAY MATTERS: Weather service blows off our state

According to the National Weather Service, Connecticut doesn't exist. We know that it does, and so do the meteorologists at the weather service office at Upton, N.Y., which also doesn't seem to exist.

That is, Connecticut is not listed in the National Weather Service organizational chart of offices and centers.

Upton, which is on Long Island, at least is listed at New York, which most would assume means New York City.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration removed the weather service office in Stratford, which used to provide information to Connecticut.
