During a break in the action at last weekend's Lancaster-Lebanon
League tournament, as the coaches were taking advantage of the
hospitality room, Cedar Crest's Scott Lindsey asked why L-L teams
were always disrespected when it came to seeding the District 3 team
tournament.
The answer - in so many words - provided by one of the coaches
was that the L-L teams had not earned seeding respect.
That may be true, but it could also be true that District 3
wrestling is Mid-Penn-centric, both in terms of administration and
application.
On the eve of this year's tournament, which begins Tuesday night
with preliminary-round matches, Mid Penn Conference teams once again
