No LeBron. No problem.
The EA Sports Roundball Classic returns for its 40th edition March
24 at the United Center. And while LeBron James, last year's all-
everything, attracted a record crowd of 19,678, the talent for this
year's game is mind-boggling.
This high school class is the best since 1979," said Sonny
Vaccaro, the game's founder and director. There are kids here who
will be future All-Americans and NBA Hall-of-Famers."
Vaccaro, who is compiling his 40 most influential players for the
game's anniversary, said that a record 10 to 12 of the high school
seniors could be first-round NBA draft choices this year, or in the
future.
