The Indianapolis Colts won a big game - the waiting game - as head coach Tony Dungy placed smiles on faces from Fort Wayne to Vincennes by announcing he would indeed be returning for the 2008 season.

Better news came during a press conference when the coach said he would leave open the possibility of coaching beyond next season.

No disrespect intended toward Dungy's eventual successor, Jim Caldwell, but knowing a stone-faced Dungy will again be patrolling the Indianapolis sideline is important on a variety of levels.
