Helen Franks

Helen T. (Hilgenhold) Franks, 79, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center.

Mrs. Franks was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the parish Bereavement Committee. She was also a member of the Friday Night Dance Club. Helen was a former volunteer with the Sacred Heart and Mater Dei PTAs, Pine Haven Nursing Home, and the American Cancer Society, often transporting cancer patients to their treatments. She enjoyed annual gatherings of the "Smitty Club," a group of former telephone operators, and frequent lunch outings with friends.
